Journal

The journal is a place where the students can make notes and record their thoughts. It's also a place where the instructor can make specific assignments. For example, the instructor can post articles or questions in the journal and then ask the students to respond to whatever he or she posted in that students journal. The students have the option of sharing their journal entries with their instructor--the instructor can then read and modify any entries the student has chosen to share. The instructor can also create entries for the student to see in their journal.
