Late 2008, I then began searching online for online/ distance-learning courses and came across Kaplan...I had part-completed a degree at a campus-based uni but did not complete the honours, 4th year. In that time I was successful in work with marketing positions, but I was also aware that I needed to complete my studies, for career and personal reasons. The local university, where I had part-completed my degree, had a restrictive part-time timetable which I could see would not fit around my hectic work-life. I needed a flexible route.

I have now been a Kaplan student since October 2008 and hope to complete my degree by summer 2010. During this time, I have really gained a lot of confidence in my academic ability. I feel that the content and structure the Kaplan course offers is of real benefit to me because I thinking more laterally about topics, which helps in my job because I am questioning things more and being able to be critical about topics and I am also able to be more reflective with my work; which again helps in my job!
