Studying Foundation Degree in Entrepreneurship
The course so far has allowed me to develop my understanding in areas such as time management, self-awareness and achieving goals. These are all very beneficial when it comes to running a business.
I enjoy a number of sports, whether it’s a surf down the beach or kick around with some mates. I also enjoy travelling and meeting new people.
I really wanted to enhance my education and get a degree that would prepare me for starting my own business in the future. Kaplan offered a range of open learning courses that were well-structured and easy to fit around my work life. They also provide you with a tutor who guides you through all the course material and is available to contact 24/7.
Kaplan offer advise on how to organise and keep on top of your studies. In my case I simply log on everyday or so and check I’m on track. The course platform allows you to plan your workload and make sure you meet deadlines.
The course so far has allowed me to develop my understanding in areas such as time management, self-awareness and achieving goals. These are all very beneficial when it comes to running a business.
The course allows you to interact with other students in an informal and formal ways. Meaning you can discuss course content or advise each other on business techniques. You’re classmate’s backgrounds all vary and this means they can all offer advise on certain subjects. I was slightly nervous when I began because I was probably one of the youngest, but this didn’t matter as everyone is in the same boat!
