Working within the Higher Education sector, I felt I wanted to better myself educationally so I could relate to the students I work with. Working full time and raising a family, university was not an option for me.

After leaving school over 17 years ago I was nervous about returning to study again, but the support from the Lecturers and Academic Advisors has been second to none.

Since starting the course in October 2007 the skills and knowledge I have learnt has enabled me to gain a promotion, to a position that in the past I would never thought of applying for.
