Having finished my NVQ studies within estate agency, I found I enjoyed studying for a qualification so much that I decided to persue another avenue. I originally started looking for management course in Estate Agency, then a comment from a friend made me think about keeping my options open for other opportunities that may arise, should the property market fail! So after hours of searching online for suitable programmes I stumbled accross University of Essex Online. The website was so easy to use (unlike the open university, whos website I found to be confusing and not what I wanted) and Christine Clynes from KOL, was so helpful in the introduction that I felt confident this was a route I wanted to take.

I am now entering the 3rd year of working with KOL. I have found that the support from the tutors and the support staff has been fantastic. They have all been very helpful to me throughout the duration of my course, and someone is always available should you have a problem or a query. The seminars are an excellent tool for learning, although I find I am not often able to attend the live version, but the fact you download the file and listen later is fab! The work itself is brilliant, it enables you to relate everything you learn week by week to your own workplace, which I find helps me no end in understanding the unit. I have learned so much through this course and I would highly recommend University of Essex Online to anyone looking to increase their future opportunities. I hope by the end of my course I will be able to continue my studies in a full degree (hopefully through Kaplan)!
