Refunds
10. Refunds
University of Essex Online shall publish its policy with respect to cancellation or early termination of Bookings. Please see University of Essex Online Terms and Conditions for specific clarification.
Refunds will not be made for student tuition fees and are non-transferable to other students.
If a student has enrolled onto the programme and has paid by level or for the entire degree, and chooses to leave the programme for whatever reason (Drops or goes on Leave of Absence) they will be provided with the opportunity to return to the programme within 12 months proceeding their date of departure.
If a student has enrolled onto the programme and has paid by module, and chooses to leave the programme part way through a module for whatever reason (Drops or goes on Leave of Absence) they will be offered the opportunity to return to the programme however, cannot use tuition payments made from previous modules studied.
If a student has enrolled onto the programme and has paid by module, level or for the entire degree and is asked to leave the programme for gross misconduct or poor academic performance, they will not be provided with the opportunity to return to the programme and will not be eligible for a refund of tuition fees already paid.
