We’re rebranding

Kaplan Open Learning is rebranding to the University of Essex Online. Since Kaplan Open Learning started offering University of Essex degree courses online in 2007 we have developed a strong relationship with the University. The collaborative partnership is now moving into a new arrangement where our ties with the university will be closer than ever before.

For students this means that we will be working closer with departments within the university to bring more of their courses online. We’re rebranding because it makes sense. Our students are students of the University of Essex and the qualification they receive is from the University of Essex. We want to reflect these facts in the brand under which we operate and we believe it is more meaningful for new and existing students alike.

The process is going to begin soon and we hope it will be completed by early next year.

It’s important to note that this change will not affect our costs and will not affect the duration of any study programme. The course will continue to remain entirely online. For more information please contact us.
