Overview of Degree Pathways

This diagram shows the program pathways available to you when you join an online Foundation Degree with Kaplan Open Learning. All students must complete Level 1 (the Certificate of Higher Education in Business Studies) before proceeding onto the Level 2 program pathways to then complete their chosen Foundation Degree.

All of the Kaplan Open Learning degree programmes, including the BA (Hons) top up course, are delivered part time online and validated by the University of Essex.

For students on our business programme who prefer to change to a full time campus based course for the progression from a Foundation Degree to an Honours Degree, the opportunity exists to transfer to the University of Essex School of Entrepreneurship and Business based at the Southend Campus.
