Introduction
Explores what constitutes anti-social
behaviour and discusses the breadth of
legislation designed to address anti-social
behaviour. The module will critically
evaluate the role of those agencies primarily
responsible for the implementation of
the legislation.
Module Description
This module aims to:
- Ensure students recognise the breadth of legislation designed to address anti‐social
behaviour
- Develop an awareness of what constitutes anti‐social behaviour
- Recognise the key elements of the legislation
- Identify and critically assess the key agencies that assist with the implementation of this
legislation
- Identify those powers granted to criminal justice agencies by this legislation
- Critically evaluate how effectively those agencies utilise the powers provided
