Introduction
Develops a critical understanding of the issues faced by modern financial institutions operating in global capital markets. You will be introduced to the key players in financial markets including lenders, borrowers and financial securities, as well as examining the development of financial services institutions and their regulation processes. You will also explore the globalisation of financial systems, and assess its impact on international economies.

This module aims to develop student’s critical understanding of the issues faced by modern financial institutions operating in global capital markets and with increasing financial regulation with an increasingly international dimension.
