Module Description
This module aims to:
- Explore the concepts utilised for effective information technology project management;
- Analyse effective project management knowledge areas and process groups, along with the use of project management software;
- Analyse case studies to further demonstrate information technology project management concepts.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module, students will be able to:
- Apply understanding of project management concepts and software to define, implement, and modify projects
- Critically assess the role of outsourcing in information technology projects
- Analyse and assess the role of change control processes in information technology project management
- Apply understanding of the concepts of project closure to project management
