Module Description

This module aims to:

• Ensure students recognise the importance of the early formative years on the behaviour of an adult
• Recognise the importance of parenting on an individual
• Develop awareness of how the changing nature of the family unit has affected development
• Understand and critically assess the methods used by psychologists to record the development of the child
• Understand the complexities of the nature vs. nurture debate in explaining the actions of adults
