Module Description
This module aims to:
- Ensure students recognise the importance of the early formative years on the behaviour of an adult
- Recognise the importance of parenting on an individual
- Develop awareness of how the changing nature of the family unit has affected development
- Understand and critically assess the methods used by psychologists to record the development of the child
- Understand the complexities of the nature vs. nurture debate in explaining the actions of adults
