Admissions Advisers - Online Foundation Degrees

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can provide first line contact with potential students and their employers who enquire about our online degree programmes. To succeed you need a friendly yet persuasive manner with a determination to hit targets. This must be set against the judgement required to ensure we only offer a place on the course to candidates who understand the demands of the programme and fulfil set entry requirements.

The successful candidate will meet the following key job requirements:

Key tasks:

Manage the "enquiries to offer" admissions process
Guide prospective students and their employers through the admissions process, answering any questions they may have
Take responsibility for logging all enquiries onto a database and follow up against agreed processes
As part of this process, check potential students against defined admission criteria and make recommendations as to candidate suitability to the Course Leader
Advise students on possible funding entitlements and refer to Financial Aid Adviser if required
Prepare weekly statistics on the enquiries and admissions pipelines and communicate to management

Personal qualities:

Outgoing, goal driven individual with strong motivational skills
Effective communicator in a customer focussed environment
Attention to detail
Hands on approach and a willingness to undertake roles outside of the remit to ensure success of the programme

Prior experience:

Successful sales/marketing and/or recruitment experience.
Experience of higher education is desirable but not essential.

Other key information for prospective candidates:

Starting salary from £17,000 to £19,000 plus benefits
Flexible working hours to include evenings and weekends
